Chicago Weather: Warmer Wednesday

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Look for patchy fog to start Wednesday, and then sunshine for much of the midday and afternoon before the next system brings clouds after dark.
On Tuesday, we had a high of 49 with temperatures in the upper 30s lakeside. The low on Tuesday is 34, and Wednesday's forecast is 59 degrees.
The hope is that the southerly wind flow is just strong enough to block the lake breeze. As of Wednesday night, it looks like south winds from 10-15 mph, holding any cooling along the immediate lakefront.
On Thursday afternoon, showers arrive – especially close to dinner time and sunset. Look for highs in the lower 50s with mid-40s lakeside.
