CHICAGO (CBS)-- Thursday is going to be breezy and cloudy with mild temperatures.

Temperatures will be in the 40s with 20-mile-per-hour winds throughout the day.

A wintry mix is on the way.

Friday will be a mostly dry day with a light snow, rain mix coming in later in the evening into early Saturday morning.

Temperatures are expected to drop to the upper 30s by the weekend and then the lower 30s for the rest of the week.
