CHICAGO (CBS) -- Skies clear Tuesday night as the low drops to 67.
Meanwhile, high pressure to our north will send northeast winds 10 to 20 mph our way.
This wind flow will build waves 3 to 6 feet.
The National Weather Service has a Beach Hazards Statement up through Thursday morning. The organization warns of dangerous swimming conditions with high waves and rip currents.
The high for Wednesday is 78 with sunny and breezy conditions, while the high for Thursday is 79 with mostly sunny conditions.
There are a few shower chances leading into the holiday weekend. Right now, it's not looking very impressive.
Look for seasonable temps for Labor Day.
