Chicago Weather: Arctic Blast Brings Single Digit Temps, Warmup On The Way

CHICAGO (CBS)-- An arctic blast has left the Chicago area with single digit temperatures. But don't worry, a warmup is on the way.

Wednesday's high temperature is in the low 20s and CBS 2 meteorologist Megan Glaros said this is the coldest day for a while.

A warming trend begins Thursday and will continue through Christmas with temperatures up to around 50 degrees.

A calm weather pattern will continue with little to no precipitation over the next week.
