Chicago Weather: Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Freezing Drizzle

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued throughout the Chicago area for concerns about freezing drizzle overnight.

The advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Monday.

The amounts of freezing rain will be very light, CBS 2 Meteorologist Robb Ellis reported. But because it is freezing drizzle, the impacts could be significant for travel.

On Monday, it's going to be mostly cloudy with an isolated sprinkle or flurry. The high for Monday is 39, while the low for Monday night is 32.

A warming trend continues through Tuesday, when highs reach the mid-40s.

Conditions will be mild and quiet through Thursday, but another wintry system arrives Friday and Saturday. A big cool-down is coming next weekend.
