Chicago Weather: A Cooler And Less Humid Pattern To Come

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Summertime showers passed through the Chicago area Wednesday evening, and overnight, mostly cloudy skies are expected with a low around 70.

Widely scattered showers persisted as of 10 p.m. as a cold front passed through, CBS 2 Meteorologist Ed Curran reported. Occasional thundershowers were spotted.

On Wednesday night, look for a shower or two early on, then mostly cloudy skies and a low around 70.

Thursday brings partly sunny skies and temps in the low 80s as we move into a cooler and less humid pattern.
