Man Suffers Head Injury After Falling From Balcony Of The Chicago Theatre

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A frightening accident at The Chicago Theatre left a man in critical condition.

A 33-year-old man fell from the third floor balcony at the legendary venue at 175 N. State St. Sources said he had been sliding down the rail at the time.

He fell all the way to the basement level, causing a a head injury.

The man is in the hospital in critical condition.

"We wish him a speedy recovery," a Chicago Theatre representative said in a statement.
