Chicago Can See The Light ... More Daylight, That Is

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Aside from the anticipated 50-degree temperatures this weekend, Chicagoans can soon take note of another important milestone.
The hours of daylight will return to double digits on Monday.
Currently, Chicagoans are seeing an increase of about two minutes of daylight each day.
On Feb. 1, daylight will top 10 hours (10 hours, one minute and 36 seconds), according to timeanddate.com
On Friday, the sun will set after 5 p.m. for the first time since Nov. 6--when Chicago shifted to standard time. Another threshold to celebrate.
The fewest daylight occurs on the winter solstice, Dec. 21 (9:07:43).
The most daylight--on the summer solstice--happens on June 20 (15:13:43)
