Chicago Spring Half Marathon Kicks Off At Maggie Daley Park

CHICAGO (CBS)--Thousands of runners took to the streets Sunday morning for the 11th Annual Byline Bank Chicago Spring Half Marathon & 10K.

The run celebrates the the return of warmer weather to the Chicago area.

Runners enjoyed plenty of entertainment afterward, with a spring market, a beer garden, live acoustic music and a breakfast buffet.

About 4,000 people signed up for the race.
