Male found shot and killed inside room at Chicago South Loop Hotel
A person was found shot to death Thursday afternoon in a hotel room in the South Loop.
Chicago police said, around 1:05 p.m., a male of unknown age was found in a hotel room at the Chicago South Loop Hotel, at the corner of 26th and State streets, with a gunshot wound to the neck.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one was in custody Thursday evening. Area 3 detectives were investigating.
