Chicago Park District holding contest to name newly hatched eaglet

The Chicago Park District is celebrating a tiny eaglet born at Park 597 on the city's Southeast Side.

It's the first documented birth of an eaglet within city limits in more than 100 years.

The park district credits habitat restoration efforts.

You can share in the excitement by helping pick a name.

Submissions are due by May 15. To vote for the eaglet's new name, click here.
