Chicago Park District hosting lifeguard skills test on Saturday
The Chicago Park District held another lifeguard skills swim test on Saturday.
The test was held at Whitney Young High School, 211 S. Laflin St. at 9 a.m. Information on test requirements can be found on the park district website.
This is the first step in the hiring process to be a Park District lifeguard.
The city will be hiring for its 77 pools and 22 beaches during the summer season.
The 2026 beach season starts on May 22.
