Chicago Man Dies In Manhattan Crash

(STMW) -- A Chicago man died Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in southwest suburban Manhattan.

John P. Coghlan, 31, was involved in the crash near the intersection at South Cedar and West Wilmington roads. He was taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, where he was pronounced dead at 8:34 a.m., according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. The cause and manner of death will be determined once the autopsy, toxicology and police reports are completed.

The Will County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
