Teen killed after shots fired into Chicago Lawn apartment building

A teenager died after shots were fired into an apartment building in Chicago Lawn early Thursday morning. 

Around 1:30 a.m., Chicago police said the 16-year-old boy was inside the building in the 6500 block of South Talman Avenue when shots were fired from outside.

Police said the teen was pronounced dead at Christ Hospital. 

No arrests have been made. 

Area One detectives are investigating.
