Chicago Adding Direct Flights to Israel Next Year

CHICAGO (CBS)--Non-stop flights from Chicago to Israel will begin next year for the first time in two decades.

Travelers will be able to fly direct to Tel Aviv on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on airline El Al Israel.

The service is expected to bring an estimated $70 million in annual economic impact to the Chicago region.

Flights begin in March 2020.
