Chicago History: Here Are Your 1912 Chicago Cubs

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Few, if any, Americans remember the last time the Chicago Cubs won the World Series.
It's possible. But really, it was 1908. What are the odds?
At 113 years of age, Adele Dunlap of New Jersey is the oldest American alive today, according to the Supercentenarian Research Foundation.
She was five years old at the time (she turned six in December of 1908).

The photo above brings us back to that era, four years after that last title.
It shows crowds sitting in grandstands, bleachers and on the field during the 1912 City Series between the Cubs and White Sox at the West Side Grounds.
The park was located between West Polk Street, South Wolcott Avenue, West Taylor Street and South Wood Street.
