REALTIME WEATHER ALERT: Over 200 Flights Canceled At O'Hare, Midway Airports Amid Snowy Conditions

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Chicago's airports are canceling hundreds of flights amid winter weather on Thursday.

Chicago areas are under a Winter Weather Advisory through lunchtime Thursday. The advisory will remain in effect longer in Northwest Indiana due to lake effect snow.

As of 9:30 a.m. Thursday, 209 flights had been canceled at O'Hare International Airport and average delays are over 76 minutes.

At Midway Airport, 11 flights have been canceled and average delays are over 15 minutes.
