CHICAGO (CBS) -- The cool, northwesterly wind flow continues to keep temperatures below average.

A Frost Advisory has been issued for LaSalle and DeKalb counties Tuesday night. 

It will be clear and cool with patchy frost away from the lake.

At the same time, Indiana will stay cloudy Tuesday night with lake effect rain showers developing and lingering into the morning. A rumble of thunder is possible there, as well as a waterspout. 

Light showers could swing to the Chicago lakefront through midday Wednesday.

Meanwhile, high wave action is a concern through Wednesday.
