CHICAGO (CBS)-- A few more warm, wet days before a cooldown.

Waves of rain move in Thursday with afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Showers wind down by the evening.

Shower chances linger Friday before a cool down.

Weekend temperatures will be in the 50s and 40s by Sunday.
