Chicago Dress Shop Accused Of Violating Anti-Trust Laws

(CBS) -- A Chicago dress shop is the target of a federal lawsuit filed by a suburban boutique.

Attorney Steven Laduzinsky for Hannah's Boutique says they filed a federal lawsuit against Peaches Boutique.
The complaint alleges Peaches is violating state and federal anti-trust laws when it tells top designers not to sell to other boutiques.

"What is so unusual about this case is that there is a paper trail of Peaches sending emails to designers to cut us off," said Laduzinsky. " We have provided in our complain emails establishing this. It is not just my client believes this occurred, there is an email trail."

An attorney for Peaches told the Southtown Star the allegations are false and he expects the case to be dismissed.
