Chicago Cubs Produce Blockbuster MLB TV Ratings For Game 7

CHICAGO (CBS) -- By any measure, the Chicago Cubs-Cleveland Indians World Series Game 7 was a television ratings bonanza.

Toward the end of the game, 80 percent of televisions in use in the Chicago market were tuned in to watch the Cubs win a World Series for the first time in just about anybody's lifetime -- 108 years, to be exact.

That means about 2 million homes had the game on TV. Ratings don't take into account people who watched the games at bars and restaurants.
