Chicago Begins Ticketing Cars Without City Stickers

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The city of Chicago is getting tough on those who are tardy buying their vehicle stickers.

Those who fail to comply can get a ticket a day -- each one costing $200. In addition, there is a $60 penalty fee if you are more than a month late. The old 15-day grace period is dead, too.

You can buy stickers at the clerk's office in City Hall and at 350 other locations in the city and suburbs.
