Chicago Area Couple Killed In Florida Hit-And-Run

(CBS) -- A Chicago-area couple on vacation in Florida was killed in a hit-and-run incident over the weekend.

Police are looking for the driver of a silver SUV that was seen on surveillance images following the deaths of John Berg, 62, and 51-year-old Viola Flores, of Lake in the Hills.

The couple was walking across a street in Clearwater Beach around 8 p.m. Sunday when they were hit.

Clearwater police believe the driver was in a silver Mercedes that sustained front-end damage.
