Man Critically Wounded In Chatham Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was in critical condition early Friday after he was shot in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, thought to be in his 20s, was found by officers lying on the sidewalk in the 8200 block of South Maryland Avenue about 12:19 a.m., police said. He was shot in the head.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
