Charles Leno Takes First-Team Snaps At Right Tackle For Bears

By Chris Emma--

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (CBS) -- Two days shy of their second preseason game, the Bears have some apparent shuffling on their first-team offensive line.

Before leaving practice with an apparent calf injury, Jordan Mills was working with the second-team unit at right tackle, while Charles Leno saw reps with the first team. Coach John Fox wouldn't commit to Leno over Mills for the preseason game against Indianapolis.

"We haven't even met as a staff yet," Fox said Thursday afternoon.

Linebacker Pernell McPhee also left practice early with an apparent knee injury. Speaking to reporters after practice, he didn't address the injury but expressed optimism in the Bears' work on Thursday.

"We practiced good," McPhee said. "We had the attitude of we must come out and attack and try to win every battle, every play. All the guys had that focus, and that's what we came out and did."

The Bears have private work Friday, breaking away from the Colts a day before their game at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.
