Cedar Lake Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

CEDAR LAKE, Ind. (STMW) -- A northwest Indiana Cedar Lake man is dead after a motorcycle accident Friday.

Gregory Gifford, 34, was taken to Franciscan St. Anthony Hospital's emergency room in Crown Point after the accident, which occurred at 151 Wicker Ave. in Cedar Lake, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office. Gifford died from blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at 5:07 p.m.

The Lake County Sheriff's Department assisted with the accident, the coroner's office said.
