CBS 2's Irika Sargent Appears As Guest Reader On 'Live From The Library'

CHICAGO (CBS)-- CBS 2's Irika Sargent may be an evening anchor, but Monday morning she became a guest reader on "Live From the Library" through the Chicago Public Library.

Sargent read Poor Louie by Tony Fucile and then The Breaking News by Sarah Lynne Reul on Facebook Live. She said it took her months to choose a book.

"I loved two of them so much I ended up choosing both!" She said.

Live From The Library: Irika Sargent!

Anchor Irika Sargent of CBS Chicago is the next of the Windy City's amazing broadcast journalists to join #LiveFromTheLibrary! Join her Monday as she reads two books. First, Irika reads Poor Louie by Tony Fucile, a great book for expecting big siblings. Next, she'll read The Breaking News by Sarah Lynne Reul, an especially relevant story for our time about how little people can cope with big, scary stories on the news. Tune in at 10 AM Monday for her stories.
