CBS 2's Erin Kennedy To Guest Co-Host On 'The Talk'

(CBS) -- WBBM-TV news anchor Erin Kennedy will guest co-host on "The Talk" on Thursday

Kennedy will join hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler for her first time at the "Talk" table. The show airs in Chicago from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Kennedy is co-anchor of CBS 2 Chicago's weekday morning newscasts with Kris Gutierrez.

Before joining CBS 2, Kennedy worked as an anchor/reporter for WKYC-TV in Cleveland, where she was the station's lead anchor/reporter for its coverage of the Cleveland kidnapping victims.

While at WKYC, Kennedy and her colleagues won an Emmy and a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for their coverage of the Chardon School shooting.

Kennedy, who has family in the Chicago area, and her husband, Matthew, celebrated the birth of their first child, Elliot, earlier this year.
