CBS 2 To Broadcast Feb. 10 Mayoral Debate

(CBS) – CBS 2 will co-sponsor a Feb. 10 debate in the Chicago mayoral race.

The event, to be broadcast live, begins at 6 p.m. at the DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th Place. The other sponsors are the Chicago Urban League, the Business Leadership Council and WVON radio.

Scheduled to attend are incumbent Mayor Rahm Emanuel and opponents Bob Fioretti, 2nd Ward alderman; Jesus "Chuy" Garcia, a Cook County commissioner, and businessman Willie Wilson.

The municipal election is Feb. 24. If a candidate gets more than 50 percent of the vote, he wins the election. Otherwise, the top two vote-getters advance to a runoff on April 7.
