Carjacking Suspect Surrenders To Police In West Englewood After Pursuit

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A suspected carjacker surrendered to police in West Englewood after a pursuit Tuesday afternoon.

Chicago Police and Illinois State Police were both surrounding a dark pickup truck at 71st Street and Hoyne Avenue as of 5 p.m.

Both police agencies had been pursuing the pickup truck.

The suspect surrendered peacefully at the scene.
