Armed Robbers In Stolen Cars Targeting South Side Neighborhoods

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A warning for drivers as armed robbers use stolen vehicles to commit other crimes.
Chicago police said some carjackers are jumping out of cars and robbing people on the street at gunpoint.
The thieves have struck eight times since Saturday in the Back of the Yards, Park Manor, Kenwood, Hyde Park, and Bronzeville neighborhoods. These crimes all took place in broad daylight.
Chicago police say the best defense is stay alert and be aware of your surroundings.
