Mother Carjacked With 3-Year-Old In Backseat

CHICAGO (CBS)—A mother loading laundry into her SUV was carjacked Wednesday night with her 3-year-old in the backseat, police said.

The woman was carjacked on the 1500 block of West Chicago.

She ran to a nearby fire station for help, and the vehicle was found 10 minutes later abandoned in an alley with the child inside, unharmed.
