Car Lands In Creek After Crash In Hoffman Estates
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (CBS) -- A car ended up in a creek in Hoffman Estates, after another car crashed into it Friday morning.
Police said a car making a turn at the intersection of Golf and Sutton roads hit another car head-on, and the second car was pushed into nearby Poplar Creek.
The woman driving the second car and her son were taken to St. Alexius Medical Center, but they were not seriously hurt.
Police said weather might have been a factor in the crash. A mix of snow flurries and rain was falling in Hoffman Estates at the time.
