SUV crashes into Jefferson Park home

CHICAGO (CBS)-- An SUV crashed into a home in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood Monday morning. 

Police said the SUV struck another vehicle before crashing into the brick wall and window of the building, located at 5022 N. Cicero Ave.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are unknown at this time. 

Citations are pending.

A Chicago Department of Buildings inspector determined that despite the damage, the building is stable and does not need to be vacated. The building's owner is working with crews to shore up and board the building, according to a DOB spokesperson.
