Car Crashes Into Dunkin Donuts, Causes Gas Leak In McKinley Park

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A car crashed through a CTA bus shelter, then hit a Dunkin Donuts, causing a gas leak.

This happened on Ashland and 33rd in Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood.

The offending vehicle sideswiped another vehicle before crashing into the two structures.

Hazmat crews and Peoples Gas were on the scene because the car hit a pipe and started a gas leak.

The shelter was destroyed and the suspect fled the scene.

It is not yet known if any injuries were reported.
