Car Crashes Into Church In Englewood

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A car crashed into the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Englewood early Friday morning.

According to police, the driver of a Chevy sedan was speeding and lost control of the car, striking the church in the 1200 block of West 59th Street around 3:40 a.m.

The driver was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition.

Police said the building sustained structural damage.
