Car Crashes In To Northwest Side School, Destroys Front Entrance

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A car crashed in to a small school Sunday morning in the Northwest Side Belmont Cragin neighborhood, destroying part of the building's exterior.

The car rammed in to the building's front entrance about 5:11 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said. The one-story building appeared to be Ramallah Arabic School of Chicago at 2700 N. Central Ave.

Information about the car's occupants or any injuries was not immediately known Sunday morning.

The inside of the school could be seen where the crash—involving a silver sedan—occurred, which removed a chunk of the building's brick entrance.
