Butter cow to be unveiled at Illinois State Fairgrounds Wednesday
CHICAGO (CBS) -- It's a big day for the Illinois State Fair.
Wednesday marks the start of butter cow season.
The iconic butter cow will be unveiled at 3 p.m. at the Dairy Building on the State Fairgrounds.
The sculpture is 500 pounds of unsalted better.
The fair starts Thursday and runs until Aug. 20.
