Burglars Strike Again At Moosejaw In Lincoln Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Lincoln Park clothing store was targeted by smash-and-grab burglars early Saturday for at least the fifth time in less than a year.

Just before 4 a.m., someone drove a Toyota Sienna minivan into the rear of the Moosejaw store at 1901 N. Clybourn Ave, according to Chicago Police. An unknown number of offenders grabbed coats and jackets and then took off in another vehicle.

Last winter, the store was reported burglarized four times in less than 30 days.

On Jan. 10, several male burglars broke a side window and stole clothing, police said. Smash-and-grab burglaries were also reported at the store on Dec. 15, 20 and 30 in 2015.
