Bulls Reach Deal With 2nd-Round Pick Paul Zipser

(CBS) The Bulls have struck a two-year deal with second-round pick Paul Zipser to come over from Germany and join them for the upcoming season, Zipser's agent posted on social media Wednesday.

The 6-foot-8 Zipser is a forward who most recently played for Bayern Munich. He's expected to be in Chicago soon.

Zipser averaged 7.1 points in 18.1 minutes across 40 games for Bayern Munich last season, while shooting nearly 54 percent from the field and nearly 44 percent on 3-pointers. On draft night, Bulls general manager Gar Forman lauded Zipser's shooting ability and skill level.

"We think he's very, very talented," Forman said then.

Zipser's addition gives the Bulls a full roster of 15 players, assuming they keep point guard Spencer Dinwiddie in the mix. Dinwiddie has a non-guaranteed contract.
