Bulls' Pau Gasol Out For Game 4

(CBS) Bulls big man Pau Gasol will miss Game 4 against the Cavaliers on Sunday afternoon after suffering a strained left hamstring in Friday's win. Chicago leads the series 2-1.

Gasol had been listed as questionable after sitting out Saturday's practice and experiencing soreness. He's averaging 12.7 points and 6.0 rebounds in the series. He led the NBA with 54 double-doubles in the regular season and started 78 of 82 games, averaging 18.5 points and 11.8 rebounds.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau called Gasol "day-to-day" and said his status for Game 5 on Tuesday is still uncertain.

"He's still sore," Thibodeau said, adding Gasol didn't do anything Sunday.

Thibodeau didn't reveal who would start in Gasol's place, but forward Taj Gibson is likely to get the nod.

"We've dealt with injuries before, so next guy get in there and get the job done," Thibodeau said. "We have guys that are more than capable."
