Bulls' Jimmy Butler Leaves Game With Injury

(CBS) Chicago Bulls All-Star shooting guard Jimmy Butler left Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets with a left knee sprain.

Butler was fouled and fell to the floor late in the first half. He was carted off the court, but not before sinking one of two free throws.

The Bulls announced Butler wouldn't return for the rest of the game. Butler had been battling tendinitis of the knee earlier in the week.

The Bulls next play Saturday night on the road against the Timberwolves.
