Bulls Fall To Hawks In Preseason Finale

(CBS) The Bulls fell 97-81 to the Hawks in their preseason finale on Thursday night in Omaha, Neb.

Chicago struggled offensively all evening, shooting 30.5 percent from the field and 4-of-22 (18.2 percent) from 3-point range. Jimmy Butler led the Bulls with 18 points. In a homecoming game, Creighton product Doug McDermott chipped in 16 points for Chicago.

Dwight Howard led the Hawks with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

The Bulls finished the preseason 3-4 and will open the regular season next Thursday, hosting the Boston Celtics.
