Buffalo Grove Man Charged In Child Pornography Case

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A northwest suburban man is facing 10 child pornography charges after authorities found explicit images and videos featuring children under 13 at his home and office, according to police.

Henry O. Jones of Buffalo Grove is charged with three counts of disseminating child pornography, and seven counts of possession of child pornography, according to the Lake County sheriff's office.

Search warrants were executed Thursday at Jones' home in the 1300 block of Green Knolls Drive in unincorporated Buffalo Grove, and at an office building where he worked in the 100 block of Saunders Road in Lake Forest, the sheriff's office said.

Investigators seized multiple electronic media devices, on which they found "an extensive amount" of child pornography images and videos, according to the sheriff's office.

The investigation also found that Jones had disseminated multiple pornographic photos depicting children under 13, the sheriff's office said. Each dissemination count carries a possible sentence of 6-30 years in prison.

Jones is being held at the Lake County jail on a $250,000 bond, the sheriff's office said. His next court date is scheduled for March 3.
