Boy, 17, Critically Wounded In South Chicago Drive-By Shooting

(STMW) -- A boy was critically wounded in drive-by shooting on the South Side South Chicago neighborhood Saturday evening.

A 17-year-old boy was in the 2700 block of East 80th Street at 7:07 p.m. when a red Tahoe drove by and someone inside the car shot the boy, police said.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, police said.
