Boy, 16, Wounded In Fuller Park Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 16-year-old boy was shot in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side Thursday night.

About 11:15 p.m., the teen was outside in the 4200 block of South Wells Street when someone walked emerged from an alley and opened fire, striking him in the leg, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
