Boy, 16, Fatally Shot In East Garfield Park
(STMW) -- A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Wednesday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
At 11:55 p.m., two unknown men walked up to the boy in the 3300 block of West Van Buren Street and shot him, police said.
Police said the boy was unresponsive on the scene with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim has been identified as Mysean Dunning.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the death, but could not provide additional details early Thursday.
