Boy, 15, Critically Wounded In Marquette Park Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was shot and critically wounded in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Thursday night.

About 9:50 p.m., the teen was sitting on a front porch in the 7100 block of South Francisco Avenue when someone walked up and shot him several times in the side and leg, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
