Boy, 14, Wounded In Eden Green Drive-By

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 14-year-old boy was injured in an Eden Green neighborhood drive-by shooting Monday night on the Far South Side.

The boy was standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East 132nd Place about 11:30 p.m. when a red SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire, police said.

He was shot in the lower left leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
