Boy, 14, Injured In Gage Park Drive-By Shooting

(STMW) -- A 14-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting Saturday evening in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 7:30 p.m., the boy was standing outside in the 5900 block of South Maplewood when a dark-colored SUV drove by and someone inside opened fire, police said.

He was shot in the left ankle and was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
